2021 CMMA Annual Scholarship Golf Outing

The 2021 CMMA Annual Scholarship Golf Outing was a great success.  It rained the entire night before and only stopped one hour before tee time.  Many thought our 10 and 0 record of never having a rainout or even rain delay was in jeopardy.  In the end, Mother Nature chose to smile on us again.

All of the golfers showed up with great attitudes and high hopes of bringing in the winning score.  In the end, Team Morey turned in the lowest round.  Team members included:  Lon Morey, Eric Spindler, Dave Forquer, and Larry Noch.  And the winner of the Steve Grace “Having The Most Fun” trophy this year was the MAC LTT Stainless Team of Alex Rusch, Ryan Somsel, Will Allen, and (there in spirit) Mark Upton.  Everyone had a great time and like the move to Bucks Run.

This event generates the money for the scholarships the CMMA awards each year.  And this year, we were able to award three scholarships.  All of the winners were at the event with family members and were formally recognized.  This year’s winners were:  Olivia Ostrander, Sarah Kepner, and Seth Wilson.

If you would like to be involved in either the scholarship competition or the golf event next year, look for promotional information to start in March/April for the scholarship applications and in May/June for the golf event.  The golf event is usually held in July and it fills up fast.
