Production Machining Of Alma was transformed from a bankrupt company to a leader in machining quality Ductile and Grey Iron castings and Screw Machine parts to the Automotive, Heavy Truck and Water & Gas Pipe Industries. The management team has been in place since the beginning and continues to run the company with the same principals it had when it started. LOCATION
Production Machining Of Alma’s 38,000 square foot facility is located in the middle of Michigan, one hour north of Lansing and one hour west of Saginaw. With a major highway (U.S. 27) running thru our city and every major LTL carrier servicing our area distribution of material is never a problem. This ensures 100% on time delivery and full utilization of Just In Time (JIT) shipping.
QUALITY SYSTEM
From QS9000 to the current ISO 9001 2008 our quality system is embedded in every aspect of our company. All team members are trained in statistical process control. All of our team members have the full authority to stop their machines if they suspect a problem.
P.M.A. goes to great length to Pokey Yoke all of its machining fixtures to ensure the quality of each and every part it produces. We believe if we “Mistake Proof” our process we will ensure Zero Defects and the quality of our parts!
QUALITY LAB
P.M.A. utilizes a fully equipped lab with Coordinate Measuring Machine, Optical Comparator and Brinell Hardness testing machine. All of P.M.A.’S equipment are calibrated on a strict schedule.

Production Machining Of Alma has the capability to produces a wide range of parts. Transmission Mounts, Engine Mounts, Roll Restrictors and Shifter Forks we have seen them all. We produce parts from 5000 pieces a year to 500,000 pieces per year. From Proto-type to Production. We are there for our customers From Start To Finish!
