CMMA in partnership with Great Lakes Bay Michigan Works! and Region 7B Michigan Works!, assisted member companies to apply for a Going Pro Industry Led Collaborative (ILC). An ILC brings together multiple companies interested in training employees in a common topic. Harry Leaver, Director of CMMA, collaborated with 24 member companies to apply for Going Pro grant funds for the Dale Carnegie Course – Effective Communications & Human Relations.

The Dale Carnegie Course – Effective Communications & Human Relations is designed to build individual’s confidence and personal leadership skills, communicate more effectively, and enhance teamwork skills. The 12 week course began in September 2021 and wrapped up in January 2022. Six sessions with morning and afternoon times were offered. 187 employees of 24 companies successfully completed training. This is the largest Going Pro ILC to date!

Congratulations to all who participated and made the commitment to improving their skills personally and professionally!
