January 24, 2023, the CMMA Board met for the first time this year. One of the most important components of the meeting was honoring retiring board members and welcoming new members.
Retiring:
James Briggs, Pratt Industries, has served on the board since it was first formed in 2011. For many years, he served as Treasurer. Many thanks to James for his service and contributions to the CMMA.
John Foote, Morbark, has served on the board for the past three years. During his time on the board he co-chaired the Executive Roundtable Special Interest Group. John contributed in many ways.
Jeff Harrison, Burch Tank, has served on the board for the past three years. Jeff was always looking for ways to help the CMMA grow and better serve our membership.
Joining:
Paul Aultman, Vantage Plastics, brings a great deal of value to the board. We look forward to his contributions. He has already stepped up and will be a co-chair of the Executive Roundtable SIG.
Corey Fowler, Morbark, is joining the board and continuing the support of the CMMA that Morbark has provided since the organization started. Corey brings a lot of enthusiasm and fresh ideas. He, like Paul, has already stepped up and will co-chair the Executive Roundtable SIG.
Ray Ogden, Great Lakes Bay Michigan Works, replaces former GLBMW representative Chris Rishko who vacated this board position last fall. Ray brings a lot of organizational strength to the board and wants to get involved with our Human Resources SIG.
